The darkness of anger

It’s what I feared

Feared that if it spoke

Would rage

Would resent

Would never stop

The silenced ones

They disappear

Into the dark

Familiar, horrible comfort

Of hiding

Righteous indignation

For the dishonor

Of hearts

Of love

Without respect

Such deep dishonor

Ignorance

Pain

The culprits

There’s none to blame

Only shame

Only pain

Only deep despair

Feelings

That won’t keep quiet

Bribe them

Shame them

Berate them

Photo by carlos elrojo on Unsplash

Cry out for honor

Permit them

Or they will rage

Give them dignity

Lest those who hold them

Come to ruin

Photo by George Gvasalia on Unsplash

And once they do

There’s no returning

To what was

Ever

About Me

Hi, I’m Crisie — the heart and voice behind this blog! I’m passionate about Jesus and family, and I’ve experienced deep healing through His love, mercy, and the truth of His Word. It’s my joy and calling to pour out that same love and truth here, hoping it touches your heart and leads you toward the wholeness your soul was created for.
